- Responsible for developing, implementing, facilitating and evaluating overall Quality in laboratory department and coordinate with quality and patient safety department
- Develops, implements and monitors compliance to policies and procedures
- Investigates all incidents and safety concerns, takes appropriate action and/ or makes recommendations to prevent future occurrences.
- Develops and implements Key Performance Indicators, and provides in-depth analysis of data and information to assist Leaders in effective decision making
- Provide expertise and facilitates multidisciplinary teams to perform RCA and FMEA and develop actions plans to corrective deficiencies and prevent future recurrence.
- Initiate improvement projects.
- Assure the readiness of all lab areas prior each Accreditation and involve as key person during accreditation process ( CAP, CBAHI, ISO 15189, JCI, ..)
- Works collaboratively with other QPS Department staff.
- Provide training and education for Quality Liaisons assigned in the lab areas.

Assigned as Senior in Immunology- Serology lab:

- Authorization of Serological assays performed for Donors

- Maintain all services required to provide qualified Serology testing to Transfusion & Medicine Services.

- Super user for all LIS used by the lab

- Maintain quality as well as safety in serology lab

- Coordinate and meet regularly as well as share data with all stakeholders involve: Lab quality, TMS, Environmental & Lab Safety , LIS team, Infection & Preventive Control department.

- Staff training & education

- Maintaining environmental Safety & staff health

- Assessment & auditing against Hospital APP and required accreditation standards.
