• Report directly to the Site Safety Supervisor and provide full assistance to the Site Safety Manager and site Project Manager.
• Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of SHADE’s Safety Policy and Loss Prevention Program (LPP) including Safe Work Practices / Safe Job Procedures and the Site Emergency Response Plan.
• Monitor the health and safety hazard as well as the safety performance of all onsite workers to ensure that all workers on the site work safely.
• Encourage and educate employees to take precautions and adhere to safety rules to protect themselves and the equipment they use.
• Conduct investigation and report the injuries, accidents incidents, near miss and any hazard cases occurred in the workplace.
• Review accident summary reports and recommend appropriate action when accident trends are unfavourable.
• Ensure safety reports and data are collected and submitted to the supervisor in due time as required.

• Review safety obligations of the clients and ensure they are carried out as per the terms of the agreement, and communicated to the Project Manager, supervisors, foremen and to all SHADE’s employees.
• Ensure that new hires are properly oriented and have undergone the Site Safety Induction / Orientation prior to be deployed at the workplace.
• Ensure safety boards with postings including but not limited to: HSE policy, inspection and audit results, project hazard assessment, location of first aid kit, etc., are maintained and updated.
• Prepare internal audits and participate audits from Third Parties and/or Owner Audits.
• Communicate, coach, and assist the field staff to ensure that all safety expectations are understood and met.
