Samar Binkheder, MS, PhD

I am Dr. Samar Binkheder, an Assistant Professor and Consultant of Biomedical & Health Informatics, specializing in informatics, AI, machine learning, and data science in healthcare. With a Ph.D. from Indiana University and postdoctoral experience at The Ohio State University, my research includes machine learning, data and text mining, and large language models. I have led projects in social media analytics, predictive analytics, EHR data quality, and drug-drug interactions, contributing to AI advancements and national patient safety initiatives in Saudi Arabia. As Head of the Statistics & Information Unit, I developed interactive dashboards using Power BI and initiated the first electronic data collection system to support decision-making. PMP® certified, I excel in interdisciplinary collaboration to drive innovation and improve healthcare outcomes.
