OPERATION IN CHARGE / SV OF COLD MILL COMPLEX:

• Ensure implementation and compliance of the SABIC Safety Health Environment Management System standards (SHEMS) at the different sections.
• Core member of Safety Audit team, Certified Unified Work Permit Trainer & involved in different safety activities and conducted many safety campaigns.
• Supervising and coordinating the Operational / Production planning activities at different processing sections. Ensures the updating of Operation / Maintenance activities in SAP system and plant documentation are available and up to date.
• Regular monitoring of process parameters & take corrective action against any deviations.
• Checks and monitors that all the mechanical maintenance work performed meet with the standards approved by the maintenance system.
• Providing feedback to management regarding production plan, plant maintenance and Product quality.
• Ensuring the preparation of Emulsion / coolant as per operation requirement and maintaining of its health condition to facilitate smooth operation of mill.
• Ensuring the plant availability to meet the set production /Maintenance targets or KPI.
• Maintains normal stocks of spares and consumable materials by authorizing withdrawal from stores. Monitors usage to prevent wastage.
• Performs a trouble-shooting role when mechanical problems arising on the shift go beyond the scope of the Shift Leader, Senior Technician, and Technician or when co-ordination in the group, or across functional boundaries as required.
• Builds self-studying and learning in all subjects related to work.
• Participate in preparing maintenance or process shutdowns and turnarounds.
• Ensures that critical spare parts availability for plant under my responsibility through the Specialist Planning (Maintenance).
• Monitors and supervises any work carried out through outside contractors at Hadeed properties. Obtains necessary work permits, follows up the work and inspects the completed works to ensure conformity with company standards. Participate in pre work visits with maintenance and contractors to identify risk activities and equipment. Conduct regular work safety audits.
• Planning & co-ordination for mill production and budget planning, annual shutdown / down day plan etc.
• Handling and investigating the operation and maintenance issues, if any and preparing Corrective action plan to resolve the issues.
• Actively involved as team member in Quality Circle and ISO 9000 documentation and its implementation for CRM complex from operation side.
• Performs other miscellaneous related tasks as required by the Plant Manager.
