Sara Abbas

As a Sr. Scientist I am working on:

• Developing, leading and assisting different scientific research programs and projects, from conception to implementation, including defining research objectives, designing experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and interpreting and reporting results
• Mentoring fresh scientists by providing guidance and support for their professional development and helping to foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing culture in the research department
• Collaborating with external partners and stakeholders, including academic and industry partners, to identify and pursue opportunities for research collaboration and funding.

• I worked on the photovoltaic solar cell based projects where I implemented new methodologies with innovative research techniques and I conducted experiments in laboratory for chemical product development.

• I worked as laboratory teaching assistant for first and second year organic chemistry students. My responsibility was to assist students during the lab by answering their questions and providing experimental advices and guiding for the lab reports.

• My responsibility was to find patients’ concern and total their feedback in order to assess the hospital’s services and treatment of patients.

• Worked as a chemist in the stability department. We studied the ability of medication to be stable for long period of time under different environmental conditions using different analytical technique such as HPLC.
