SCOPE: Supervisory Consultant

DESCRIPTION: Design and Construction supervision of Wadi safar Infrastructure Project

RESPONSIBILITIES-

✓Monitoring and reviewing of the contractor’s documents/shop drawings to flag and rectify any
issues which may affect the stability or Structure or any other stream of the project.
✓ Monitoring and ensuring that all civil/structural engineering aspects of the project are carried
out as per inspection plan/drawings/codes and specifications.
✓ Monitoring safety aspects when dealing with Civil/structural inspections.
✓ Witnessing or evaluating tests confirming quality requirements, civil/structural finishes and
building components by conducting thorough site inspection for all civil/structural works as per
approved shop drawings, specifications and method statement.
✓ Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site and preparing reports as re-
quired.
✓ Identifying potential safety concerns and inform the contractor.
✓ Raising NCR’s, SOR’s QOR’s, and Commenting and reviewing WIR’s identify quality deficiencies
in conjunction with the Resident Engineer.
✓ Reviewing the corrective actions proposed by the contractor, responding / following ups and
close out procedure.

PROJECT: Etihad Rail 2D, Sharjah to Fujairah

SCOPE: Supervisory Consultant

DESCRIPTION: ETIHAD RAIL Stage 2& 3 Project

C0308 - Package 2D, Design & Build Contract (Sharjah to Fujairah)

RESPONSIBILITIES-

✓Monitoring and reviewing of the contractor’s documents/shop drawings to flag and rectify any
issues which may affect the stability or Structure or any other stream of the project.

PROJECT: Al Bustan Street south Upgrade project, Al Waab QATAR

CLIENT: ASHGHAL, Public Works Authority, Govt of QATAR.

MAIN CONTRACTOR: Hyundai Engineering and Construction, Qatar.

ENGINEER: Parsons Middle East.

RESPONSIBILITIES-

*To Verify that the quality related site activities are in accordance with the Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and Method Statements.

*Raising Inspection Request's (ITR’s) and Coordinating with Client/PMC for the relevant Inspections.

*Self-Certification of Works prior to the inspections by client/consultants.

*Responsible for Conducting Pre/Post Concrete Tests, Sampling & Conducting Quality tests for the various Construction & Finishing materials.

*Follow-up of all non-conformance reports and undertake remedial action.

*In Depth and through knowledge of Stressing of Post Tensioning strands.

PROJECT: Route2020 Dubai Metro Project

CLIENT: RTA (Roads and Transport Authority) Govt of Dubai, UAE

MAIN CONTRACTOR: Expolink2020 Consortium.

ENGINEER: Parsons-Systra JV

RESPONSIBILITIES-

*To Verify that the quality related site activities are in accordance with the Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and Method Statements.

*Raising Inspection Request's (ITR’s) and Co-ordinating with Client/PMC for the relevant Inspections.

*Self-Certification of Works prior to the inspections by client/consultants.

*Responsible for Conducting Pre/Post Concrete Tests, Sampling & Conducting Quality tests for the various Construction & Finishing materials.

*Follow-up of all non-conformance reports and undertake remedial action.

*Coordinate with the site construction manager on all quality issues and participating in QA/QC site weekly meetings with the project subcontractors.

*In Depth and through knowledge of Stressing of Post Tensioning strands.

*Hands on experience in casting, finishing, repair and final acceptance of Bridge/Viaduct Elements; Piercaps, EJ, segments, Stitches, Cast in Situ and

Bearing Plinths.

*In Depth Knowledge of Bearings, Shearkeys, Bearing Grouting, Finishing, Repair and Maintenance.

*Through Experience on Various types of Bridge Erection i.e Balanced Cantilever, Launching Gantry, FalseWork, Cast-in-Situ, Lifting Frame Method.

PROJECT: New Orbital highway Contract 1, Al Waqra, Qatar

CLIENT: ASHGHAL, Public Works Authority, Govt of QATAR.

MAIN CONTRACTOR: J&P AVAX Joint Venture,

ENGINEER: AECOM Middle East

RESPONSIBILITIES-

*To Verify that the quality related site activities are in accordance with the Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and Method Statements.

*Raising Inspection Request's (ITR’s) and Co-ordinating with Client/PMC for the relevant Inspections.

*Self-Certification of Works prior to the inspections by client/consultants.

*Acting as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, craftsmen and operatives.

*Setting out, Leveling and Surveying the site; • checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations;

*Communicating with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed

of progress;

*Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors;

*Planning the work and efficiently organising the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines;

*Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site and preparing reports as required.
