  • Go through the contract agreement before taking up any project to clearly understand the scope of work, manpower required, duration of work, scheduling Level-4 schedules.
  • Go through the IFC drawings to know the in and out of the project and Coordinate with the Engineering Dept for any queries.
  • Prepare ITP in co-ordination with QA/QC.
  • Attend the Kick-off Meeting with the clients-Construction/Projects Manager and put before the Technical Submittals for Approval through QA/QC.
  • Arrange contracts with the subcontracts and mobilize manpower at site obtaining the IDs.
  • Plan the activities on Level-4 Schedule
  • Order all the long lead items at the start of Project as soon as P.O is obtained.
  • Order minor equipment like humidifier, exhaust fans, dampers, louvers, duct etc and co-ordinate with the concerned Site Engineer.
  • To ensure that the work is completed within time with the given specifications and standards and coordination with all the Eng. Disciplines so that the work flows smoothly and continuously.
  • Co-ordinate the sub-ordinates and settle disputes amicably and attend appraisal meetings, classification meetings with site engineers , mangers, sub and main contractors, client in case of delay and dreg, work, unavailability of material and suggest suitable alterations if any.
  • Take care of the following activities at site

o Civil openings required at site

o Scoff fold required

o Supports required

o Duct Installations

o Damper installation

o Insulation of duct

o Exhaust fan installations

o Equipment Installations

o Refrigerant piping works with proper support and safety.

o Minor equipment’s – chemical filter, humidifier, bleed fans etc. installations

o Raising inspections for any material including Duct and accessories at Site (RFI)

o Track the progress of project on daily and weekly basis.

  • Keenly take up invoices and follow up with the client on a monthly basis.
  • Submit the checks to the account department and update the project manager in regards to the project progress and payment received for the concerned project.
  • Track the budget and expenses of the project at all times.
  • Prepare as-built and hand over documents to close the project

Electrical and Control Works:

  • Installation of DDC and MCC panels.
  • Check for Cable and other electrical material as per specs (cable size, armored – unarmored, make, etc.)
  • Torque and Meggering of cables in co-ordination with QA/QC.
  • Installation of Field Devices
  • Installation of Isolator switches.
  • See for the electrical team to follow Cable pulling schedule
  • Meggering and Terminations
  • Raise (RFI) for inspections of mechanical as well as electrical installation completion in co-ordination with QA/QC.
  • Request the Client for power and schedule TAB and BASS activities. (Start up and Commissioning)
