• Performed multiple procedures skillfully, including central venous lines (USG guided), Swan Ganz Catheter, Lumbar Puncture, Epidural, SAB, Peripheral nerve blocks, etc.
• Pain management and post-operative care.
• Managing critically ill patients in Intensive Care Unit.

National Hospital & medical center and its Allied hospitals include Doctors Hospital & Medical Centre and Hameed Latif Hospital which are tertiary care private sector hospitals affiliated with various institutes (PMDC, CPSP, university of health sciences) for undergraduate and postgraduate training for doctors and paramedical staff.

National Hospital & Medical Centre is a 300 bedded facility that mainly catering Neurosurgery, Renal Transplants, and General Surgical Procedures along with other surgical specialties. The hospital has an ICU consisting of 22 beds and 10 beds are reserved as PACU.

Responsibilities:

• Intensive Care Unit: I am skilled to diagnose and formulate a multidisciplinary management plan for various medical and surgical emergencies with the provision of life-saving maneuvers. In addition, we also administer antibiotic regimens, nutritional care, electrolyte imbalance correction, and fluid management. We have a specialized management system for grief counseling of patients. I also have a special interest in research matters pertaining to critical care. I am an active team member for “Operational Policies” in patient care management, ICU equipment, care of families, and outreach unit.
• Clinical Anaesthesia: Providing anesthesia to patients based on a formulated plan which includes general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, and analgesia, and interventions for chronic pain management in patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics and to a wide spectrum of surgical specialties.
• Management: Intermittently I am given the responsibility to manage the operation theatre list.
• Clinical Skills: Peripheral lines, difficult IV lines, Intrathecal chemotherapy, central venous catheters, arterial catheters, familiarity with ultrasound application, peripheral nerve blocks (limbs & thoracoabdominal), nasogastric tubes, urinary catheter, chest Intubation.
• Pain Management: I participate in pain management as part of the team but to a certain amount of exposure.
• Academics & Teaching: I am also involved in teaching activities occurring in the department which includes presentation, debates, and audits.

I have convincingly demonstrated clinical effectiveness, leadership, and decision-making responsibilities in my specialty training
