Responsibilities:.

• Reporting to Contract HSE Manager
• Overall Responsible for HSE & security of the designated contract
• Responsible for Maintaining and implementing good health and safety standard at worksites (Contractors and subcontractors) according to legal, national, international, clients and company HSE standards, procedures, and requirements
• Participate and conduct the kick-off meeting with new contractors/subcontractors and explaining the company HSE requirements
• Deploying a group of HSE Advisors (16 nos-Two location) as per the project locations, activities and monitoring their performance
• Participate and support for preparing the Project HSE Plan
• Prepare HSE performance data, Statistics, HSE Dashboard
• (Monthly, Weekly reports, Score Card etc…) to track the Leading & Lagging Indicators
• (KPIs) Heads the Weekly HSE meetings with site management team and advising them to implement the safe system of work by maintaining the inter department coordination
• Performing site safety compliance inspections, including hazard analyses and safe work procedures, and preparing reports with suitable recommendations
• Participating in preparing the SOPs
• Participating in Process safety- Level 2 Risk Assessment
• Participate in Accident, Incidents, near miss Investigations
• Performing HSE audits based on the Company’s HSE improvement plan and HSE goals and objectives
• (Company & Subcontractors) Ensuring the effective implementation of ISSOW (Integrated safe system of work) in their respective areas by conducting desktop audit, worksite audit and attending daily ISSOW permit review meetings
• Participate in Monthly CEO HSE committee meetings and discussing the challenging HSE issues and improvements
• Participate and support for preparing project HSE Improvement Plan
• Responsible for monitor the implementation of HSE improvement plan
• Participate in hazard hunts program and preparing risk assessments
• Ensuring and recommending management to purchase the safety equipment in accordance with national and international standards, established company requirements
• Advising management on any HSE requirements and inputs for the betterment and compliance
• Taking part in senior management HSE inspections, cross over audits, management visits along with client
• Analysing and collating weekly site observations data and perform follow ups on their status
• (BBS & What if Observations from all Employees including HSE staffs) Develop “What if Observations (BBS) trends and preparing /arranging in-house trainings & on job trainings based on observation trends
• Heads in HSE Orientation for newly joined staffs
• Motivate and support the team to implement new initiatives to improve the HSE standards that remove or mitigate workplace hazards and introduced them to authorize personal for approval
• (BMTs) Perform Gap Analysis on all Past Incidents of company and other contractors to verify the implementation of recommended corrective/preventive actions to prevent the reoccurrences
• Regular Monitoring & enforcing the compliance of SSE Programme (Short Service Employee)
• Preparing Yearly Emergency Drill plan and monitoring the compliance
• Maintaining and updating all HSE documents.
