• Accountable for the training and certification of QC staff.  Accountable for implementing ISO policies, procedures and standards.  Accountable for establishing, updating and implementing quality inspection plans for all projects and work sites /workshops etc.  Develops and institutionalizes company QC expertise, know-how, controls and capabilities  Ensures that company quality standards, guidelines and polices are formalized into company QA/QC manual.  Ensures company QC manual is regularly updated and available for consultation.  Manages the documentation and institutionalization lessons learned concerning quality.  Identifies and tracks KPI’s and devices plans and initiative for improvement.  Accountable for proper implementation.  Provide support for the professional development of staff reporting directly to him.  Coordinates with the Estimation unit to establish the preliminary quality plan during bidding.  Coordinate with the project manager to ensure that quality plan and construction plan are aligned.  Coordinate with the procurement for conducting inspection of purchased materials.  Coordinate with the client appointed quality inspection teams to resolve complex QA/QC issues.  Interacts and manages all QC on site staff and operational issues on daily basis.  Coordinate with local and international organization /institution for updating company standards.  Coordinate with ISO certifiers to ensure company is complying with ISO procedures.

· Ensuring and quality checking as per site activities as per Aramco ITP and checklist.

· Documents review of material receiving inspection procedure, equipment and piping installation i procedure, internal installation procedure and hydrotest procedure etc.

· Prior to material receiving inspection at job site, ensure to review of “Documents review “of inspection report, inspection certificate, packing list, non-conformities as per final disposition report, final inspection shipping releasing report and pending punch points etc

· . Witnessing of material receiving inspections and storage & preservation activities as per Company standards and vendor approved procedure.

· Attending witness and hold point inspections of specific material receiving, installation and commissioning activities at job site.

· Preinstallation and install inspections at job site as per relevant ITP (SATIP-D-001, SATIP-L-350-1) and checklist points.

· Witnessing of cleaning, pre installation, Leveling and alignment, trim installation, internal parts, and external supporting structural installation inspections.

· Witnessing of valves, flange joint, gasket tightening and torquing inspection of bolted flange joint assembly as per SAEP-350.

· Document Reviewing and witnessing of manual bolt torque, hydra tightening and tensioning activities

· Witnessing torquing and tensioning activities as per approved procedure.

· Job Surveillance inspections

· Initiate Log book entry (LBE) note, standard violations, proactive recommendations, Focus Assessments, General comments in the QMIS Quality Systems to improve quality and timely work effectively.

· Attend and participate weekly quality meetings, communication meetings, technical meetings and monthly safety meetings.

· Reviewing and acceptance of quality control work procedures (QCP) for special process activities.

· Attending the weekly progress quality review meeting with contractor.

· Coordinating and attending weekly safety and technical sharing internal staff meetings.

· Witnessing shop fabrication activities and valve calibration activities as per requirement.

· Team plays and coordination with the other departments for smooth flow of project work.

· Witnessing internal and external inspections of equipment and relief valve installation inspections.

· Witnessing and hold points of pre commissioning activities walk through inspections of type a punch points “A” prior to hydrotest and leak test.

· Witnessing and review of hydrotest fluid test certificate, SRB count, corrosion inhibitor and biocide mixing water treatment certificates as per SAES-A-004 and SAES-A-007.

· Witnessing final inspections prior to closure certificate.

· Site walkthrough reinstatement inspection after hydro test.

· Witnessing and ensuring layup activities as per SAES-A-007.

· Final punch point witnessing inspections before MCC.

· Responsibilities include but not limited to organize, implement, conduct and manage the project quality plan of the assigned projects.

· Responsible in establishment and maintaining and effective structured quality plan.

· Ensuring responsibilities of QMS are met through top management.

· Ensure quality plan, organization chart, working personals qualification and special process (quality control procedures) are reviewed and approved by Saudi Aramco as per contract procedure prior to start of work.

· Coordinate with client regarding quality matters.

· Ensure all materials/equipment’s received on site is inspected for compliance in accordance with material vendor approval requests (MVAR)approvals and are proper stored.

· Maintain records of QC activities and make these records available at any time to clients authorized representatives.

· Enforce hold points

· Deal with directly field supervisors to correct identified deficiencies and notify the QC inspector prior to concealment of corrected work.

· Ensure that QMIS is implemented through top management ensuring development and implementation of the QMS and continually improving.

· Ensuring and stick on to all quality deliverables are met as per contract .some quality deliverables are quality plan, organization chart ,personal qualifications, audit schedule, audit report, contractor and sub-contractor NCR, NCR summary, Management review report, Management QMS report(ISO 9001),Evidence of manufacture pre-qualification, inspection status report monthly, inspection assigned package, pre inspection meeting &vendor inspection reports, two week look ahead, final inspection report/shipping release ,inspection disposition report, special process procedures(quality control procedures),inspection and test plan, Hydro test package etc.

· Stick on to QMS system points like purpose, scope, responsibilities, management representative, procedure, management responsibility, resource management, product realization measurement analysis &improvement etc.

· to ensure proper documentation and traceability of corrective action done and addressing of the preventive measures to implement as per SAEP 381 escalation process.

· Giving quality awareness training session seminars to quality team about RFI, QMIS flow process and process methods.

· Attend Quality meetings and progress meetings as required by client representatives and mandated by SAEP -1150. Ensure proper document is being done and filing for all quality issues discussed and raised.

· Ensure to Submit two weekly and monthly updates of construction and procurement to client (Aramco).

· Assist the engineering and procurement department to develop technical specification quarries

· Attend to customer complaints in taking corrective& preventive actions.
