I am a dedicated scientist specializing in infectious disease diagnostics and microbial genomics, holding a PhD in
Diagnostic Microbiology from Cardiff University. My work focuses on advancing molecular diagnostics,
particularly for tuberculosis in both humans and animals, with the aim of improving diagnostic accuracy, speed,
and efficiency. By developing innovative diagnostic tools, I strive to enhance early detection and treatment
outcomes for infectious diseases.Throughout my career, I have developed a strong expertise in metagenome
analysis, which has been key to understanding the role of complex microbial communities in infectious disease.
Using cutting-edge genomic technologies, I work to identify novel biomarkers and optimize diagnostic methods for
clinical use. This includes leveraging next-generation sequencing platforms to detect and characterize pathogens in
complex samples. As the CEO of the Metagenome and Microbiome Association, I lead strategic initiatives to drive
innovation in microbial genomics and improve diagnostic technologies. I oversee collaborative research projects,
manage multidisciplinary teams, and guide the direction of research to translate scientific findings into practical
solutions. My leadership is focused on building partnerships with academic institutions, healthcare organizations,
and industry leaders to ensure that our research directly addresses global public health challenges
