Key Responsibilities:

• Optimize plant operations to meet business plan by monitoring critical plant as well as quality parameters and KPIs, resolve plant problems and enable safe and efficient production
• Provide technical resource to assist work teams on daily operations and process performance, Process Data analysis for advance troubleshooting using IP21 historian
• Focal point for Energy Management system for the unit.
• Certified Internal auditor for ISO50001:2018 Energy Management system by FAHSS-TUV.
• Production planning and integration with other plants
• Fulfill Operating Discipline Management System (ODMS) requirements
• Alarm management, Developing and implementing Process Control improvement projects on ABB DCS

Other responsibilities:

• Performing revalidation of LOPA, Reactive chemical matrix, PHA, HAZOP
• Ensuring compliance to Loss Prevention Principles, Safety System Impairment standards and other process safety standards
• Reviewing MOCs, SOPs to ensure compliance to Process Safety standards requirements
• Developing and reviewing Operating, Critical and Emergency response procedures
• Conducting RCI for process safety incidents
• Performing Process safety related self-assessment

Achievements:

• Commissioned 300,000 MTPA Aniline and 170,000 MTPA Formalin plants
• Pre-commissioning activities such as equipment and piping inspection, P&ID verification, loop checks
• Developed complex commissioning and operating procedures
• Reduced energy consumption by implementing cost-effective efficiency measures and technologies.
• Collaborated with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for energy savings and process improvements.
• Developed comprehensive energy management plans, setting clear goals and targets for improvement.
• Successfully completed six months On-Job Training at Dow Chemical, Boehlen, Central Germany for Aniline Technology
• Attended Formalin plant licensor training by Johnson Matthey (Formox) at Perstorp, Sweden
• Completed certification for Process Safety Management by NEBOSH

• In 500 Mt/day Chlor-Alkali plant
• Critical task observation and recording, Analysis of process parameters for effective troubleshooting
• Review and update P&IDs, SOPs & SOCs
• Coordinate with maintenance personnel for weekly job planning, ensure safe handing over of equipment/instruments for maintenance and adherence to safety standards & procedures
• Active member of Process Safety Management (PSM) activities
• Conducting incident investigation for near misses and incidents.

• Projects and Achievements:- - Conducted internal audits for ISO 14001:2004 EMS
• Implemented ISO 14001:2004 at Atul Ltd, Aromatics site
• Worked on Clean Development Mechanism projects for Carbon Credits
• Involved in on-site emergency mock drills, safety audits and several safety awareness programs.
