Job Description

  • Gondola Structure: Steel or wood components, supports, bolts, and welds. Wheels (road wheels, side friction wheels, up stop wheels), axles.
  • Lift Systems: Chain lift, cable lift, magnetic launch systems.
  • Braking Systems: Magnetic brakes, friction brakes.
  • Restraint Systems: Lap bars, over-the-shoulder harnesses, seat belts.
  • Bearings and Joints: Moving parts requiring lubrication and wear checks.

Performed before the park opens:

  • Visual Track Inspection: Walking the track or using a maintenance vehicle to check for cracks, loose bolts, corrosion.
