Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients in ICU settings.

Manage mechanically ventilated patients using different ventilation modes, including High Frequency Oscillation Ventilation (HFOV).

Perform and monitor Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) using Prismaflex systems.

Handle complex medical, surgical, trauma, neurological, and post-operative ICU cases.

Assist physicians during central venous catheter, arterial line, chest tube, tracheostomy, and hemodialysis catheter insertions.

Participate actively during Rapid Response Team (RRT) activations and Code Blue emergencies.

Administer emergency medications, perform chest compressions, assist in cardioversion and defibrillation procedures.

Monitor patients receiving inotropes, sedatives, and other high-alert medications.

Interpret ECG rhythms, arterial blood gases (ABGs), and patient hemodynamic status.

Safely transport critically ill and mechanically ventilated patients for diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Provide specialized care for COVID-19 critical care patients under airborne and isolation precautions.

Perform nursing procedures including IV cannulation, blood sampling, urinary catheterization, OGT/NGT insertion, and blood transfusion monitoring.

Coordinate patient care plans with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Serve as Charge Nurse and support unit workflow, patient safety, and staff coordination.

Maintain accurate nursing documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and international patient safety standards.
