Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation of detailed shop drawings based on approved structural calculations, system designs, and coordination with other trades, ensuring compliance with project standard formats and procedures
• Collaborate with project teams to prepare conceptual drawings and determine the most appropriate solutions that comply with project specifications, architectural designs, and structural requirements
• Develop procurement lists based on the approved products and suppliers for all materials required for the execution of items outlined in the Bill of Quantities
• Issue fabrication documents, including cutting lists, fabrication details, assembly drawings, and schedules, ensuring timely production and assembly
• Manage all project submittals, such as drawings, calculations, RFIs, and production orders, ensuring they are completed on schedule and meet all specifications
• Create fabrication drawings using AutoCAD and system-specific software, providing accurate, production-ready documents
• Prepare Material Technical Sheets for all materials and components to ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications
• Contact suppliers to obtain competitive quotes matching project specifications and issue material orders to ensure timely procurement and compliance with project requirements.
