Supplemental Manpower for Saudi Electricity Company at Engineering & Design Department

• Validate design of Extra High Voltage substations including its auxiliary system
• Coordinate with Project Manager to address project needs and requirements
• Coordinate meetings to discuss project issues
• Attend to management needs by providing updates & reports
• Demonstrate in-depth understanding of Saudi Electricity Company standards & international standards

Review & ensure full compliance of the following submittals:

• Base/Detail Design: Transformers, Reactors, Switchgears (AIS, GIS, HGIS), Bus Ducts (GIB), PDMS, Control Panels, Metering Panels, AC/DC Panels
• Drawings/Layouts: Overalls, Single Line Diagrams, CT & VT Data, Metering OLD, Earthing & Grounding, Lighting, Small Power, Cable Tray, Gantry, Buildings, Bonding Scheme, Duct Bank, Cable Routing, Tunnels, Key Erection
• Calculations: Lighting, Shielding, Grounding Grid, Ampacity, Short Circuit, Cable Sizing, Breaker Sizing, VT and Metering CT Sizing, Induced Voltage (SVL), Heat Dissipation, Battery and Charging Sizing
• Technical Material: Surge Arrester, Cable Terminations, Power & Control cables and Wires, Earthing Cables, Bare Conductors, Tubular Rigid Bus, ACSR, CVT, Post Insulators, PVC, Link Boxes, Cable supports, Cable Ladder & Raceway, Lighting Fixtures, receptacles, Meters, Connectors

Implement electrical design requirements by collaborating with the electrical lead, project engineer, and functional manager to ensure full compliance with relevant engineering standards and project scope

• Submit FEED packages
• Utilize computer software to generate project files
• Create markups as necessary
• Maintain project records within the portfolio (Citadone)
• Design Indoor and Outdoor Lighting
• Design panel schedules
• Prepare cable sizing calculations and cable schedules
• Update Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)
• Prepare motor datasheets
• Compile Material Take-Off
• Understand fire detection and alarm systems (FDAS)
• Be knowledgeable about area classification concepts
• Conduct site visits
• Answer technical queries
• Become acquainted with ARAMCO standards
