As Health and Safety Manager for NEOM Regional Projects, my core responsibility was ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across a range of large-scale construction and infrastructure works. I led and delivered regular audits and assurance reviews to verify that both NEOM and PMC requirements were being met on site identifying gaps, driving corrective actions, and ensuring that findings were properly closed out. Working with a team of HSE professionals from the PMC, I ensured a consistent approach to the implementation of HSE controls across all active project areas.

I the Senior Health & Safety Audit & Assurance Advisor on the Hinkley Point C nuclear power station project with Laing O’Rourke UK, where my primary focus was ensuring compliance with health and safety law and the site’s nuclear licensing conditions.

My role involved carrying out structured audits and assurance activities across multiple work packages, specifically checking that Laing O’Rourke and our subcontractors were meeting the required standards under the CDM Regulations, as well as the specific conditions imposed by the Office for Nuclear Regulation. I regularly reviewed compliance with project specific arrangements, safety case requirements, and management system expectations set by both EDF and the regulatory bodies.

As a Senior HSE Advisor at Laing O'Rourke my primary responsibilities included developing and implementing comprehensive HSE strategies, conducting site inspections and audits, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.

During my time with Arabtec Construction, I operated across both project sites and the corporate head office in central Abu Dhabi. Reporting directly to the QHSE Director, I was responsible for driving compliance and ensuring the safe execution of all special projects. I also led assurance activities across a diverse portfolio within the special projects division, including high-rise developments, defense infrastructure, aviation and airport projects, as well as Ministry of Defense works.

As an Assistant Site Manager at Persimmon Homes in the UK, I have had the opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of residential construction projects within a renowned and reputable organization.

In this role, I have worked closely with the Site Manager, assisting in the coordination and management of construction activities on site. With a keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills, I have played a vital role in ensuring that projects adhere to strict timelines, quality standards, and health and safety regulations.
