- I was employed by a recruitment agency for 3 months, Then got signed over to the company. While working here I learnt how to use a RBF scanner, pick and pack stock for sale and label product if needed. This job required me to work at a fast pace while being able to carry heavy products in a safe manner and ensure the product got out on time. I was employed for 19 months, I fell pregnant with my first child working until 38 weeks pregnant before going on paid parental leave. Sadly I was made redundant as the company is relocating.

- I started out as a pick pack on a high pace line, my duty there including grading product to make sure it was up to standard. I was in this position for about a year where then I got the opportunity to change departments. I spent my remaining time in this position where I eventually worked my way into a leading roll and become the leading hand. Duties included safety checks to make sure the environment was safe for my team to enter. I would then start and set all the machines ready for the day. After that I would organize where to put workers and to organize with other leaders in different departments to get workers to cover shifts of people who didn’t arrive. Then throughout the day I would jump on the line if needed or I would keep an eye on workers to make sure they are doing the job to the highest standard. Other duties were filling paperwork, organizing maintenance when needed, cleaning, training new workers, reporting to management and grading. And after the day was done, I cleaned the area and shut down machine to be ready for the next day.
