KEY ACHIEVEMENTS

  • 2012 – Led Six Sigma process improvements to improve Baker Hughes service delivery of coiled tubing and cementing offshore operations under severe meteorology condition for production solution in the sub-Saharan Africa. Improve quality at site by 70% of rig up/down, job completion time with significant client financial cost reduction.

  • 2010 – Successfully negotiated the Schlumberger unsolicited technical and commercial proposal with Total E & P Nigeria through production enhancement model demonstration, resulting in a progressive coiled tubing contract generating about $5m annual profit margin for SLB Nigeria.

  • 2013 – Successfully renegotiated the Baker Hughes / Total E & P Angola cementing and filtration contract through technical engagements on optional low cost / high yield cement slurry design, resulting to an additional $100K profit per well drilled on the DALIA & CLOV cementing contract.

  • 2009 – Performed competitive analysis on various technical & commercial proposals using different business cases, made recommendations to BJS Nig which resulted to the adoption of Tekplug Technology in Completion Fluids System and generated additional $550K annual revenue.

  • 2014/2015 – Anticipated trends and remained abreast of current technology and industrial challenges, strategized and implemented plans creating $1m combined opportunities, capitalizing on the market shifts and drove market penetration for the coiled tubing business in Angola.

  • 2013/2014 – Developed a cost reduction initiative that saved Baker Hughes Angola, $3 million annual savings across 10 personnel by reducing fixed spending by 83% and variable overhead spending by 19% through a variety of cost-improvement initiatives and better utilization of resources.

  • 2013 – Led a team of professionals in driving cost-reduction initiatives that resulted in $350K average savings per oil well constructed through the introduction of low cost, high yield, and optimally designed cement slurry systems during oil well drilling campaign for PetroSA.

  • 2010 – Pioneered for SLB Nigeria, the introduction and successful application of the Catenary Coiled Tubing Systems on Total E & P Nigeria Amenam Kpono and Aker-Scandi coiled tubing operations to platforms limitations, to support all Coiled Tubing spread and ancillary equipment, saving 2 weeks of rigging time on each well application.

  • 2012 – Single handedly set up a pressure pumping operations crew in South Africa which kick-started the $10m cementing and coiled tubing combined operations for PetroSA South Africa during the Ikhwezi Drilling Campaign. This was done via identifying, recruiting and engaging appropriate personnel, equipment and product planning / purchase to support the project as mentioned, as well as writing out technical proposals for the respective candidate wells while managing operations and personnel onsite and offsite during project execution and evaluation.

  • 2014 – Set up coiled tubing business in Angola as well as broadened the existing client base and secured additional opportunities to sustain Coiled Tubing business in Angola, through short technical workshop with various clients, demonstrating potential well productions as against current production with clear benefits. Generated 3 trial CT well operations with enhanced combined production increase from 3,205-bopd to 15,900-bopd.

  • 2014 – Successfully generated for Baker Hughes Angola, company’s first coiled tubing service revenue, valued at $220,000 within two months of launch.

  • 2019 – Product optimization / development of a niche, 15% ecofriendly & dermal tissue friendly, corrosion free, safe acid still maintaining the useful properties of the said product.

  • 2018 – Process optimization for regular methanol dosage and its likes, on floating production storage and offloading (FPSO), within the African ocean territories.
