I am a Well Intervention Specialist with over 10 years’ experience in Well Intervention services (Coiled Tubing, Nitrogen Pumping and High Pressure pumping) and an Electrical Electronics Engineering post graduate. I have held Specialist, Supervisory and Field operator roles while carrying out various Well intervention services and completion activities with Coiled Tubing in the Unconventional gas projects that span over Saudi Arabia and Nigeria, leading to improved productions for Saudi Aramco and various International producing companies within Nigeria. Successful services rendered onshore, on rigs and rigless operations (inclusive of their various Coiled tubing related applications) have included: Stimulation jobs through Coiled Tubing (Matrix acidizing, acid washes and Squeeze) Cementing through Coiled Tubing (water shut off and Cement plugs) Wellbore cleanouts, Abrassive jet perforation and Deployment of perforation guns.Milling of multiple plug zones in Aramco Unconventional gas wells projects. Fishing at horizontal zone of 18,000" and Logging activities, Nitrogen kickoff and tubing purges, Well kills (gas wells inclusive) injectivity tests, sand washes,MIT Deployment and high pressure pumping, all towards well control, restoring and improving production..   • As a Field Operator my responsibilities on rigs and rigless operations have included but not limited to: Daily operational reports and provides technical support to crew and client at well site. Develop expertise on advanced Coiled Tubing techniques. Plan and coordinate operations and ensure that all materials are rigged up ,tested,and ready to perform job. Ensure work is performed in compliance with service quality, health, safety and IT standards. Also to ensure that coiled tubing unit is always in good working condition with regular and timely maintenance and repairs as necessary, assists in the maintenance and replacement of Coiled Tubing equipment and accessories as is required and necessitated, spotting of and the safe rigging up and rigging down on location, of all Coiled Tubing equipment, downhole tools and accessories, supporting and assisting the Supervisor with his duties, while guiding and directing subordinates, seeing to the efficient operation of the High pressure fluid pump and Nitrogen pump during field operations, and helping ensure towards a generally hitch-free Coiled tubing operation.
  • Thus far. All jobs carried out @ Aramco Unconventional gas wells projects.
  • HPCT plug milling (Over 68 plugs @ over 22,000 feet).
  • Fishing of Max depth of fish @ 18,000 ft horizontal section.

  • As a Coiled Tubing Specialist my responsibilities included but was not limited to management and ensure that all end of job reports are prepared (well history) both hard copy and electronic form, delivering such to clients on demand, maintain an inventory / library of accompanying CT /N2 manuals and spec sheets. Act as focal point between field engineers and management to increase operational efficiency ,mentor and educate newly employed trainee in the field,on both the aspect of our operations and efficient equipment handling and operating, spotting of all equipment, ensuring and assisting in the appropriate rig up and rigging down of all surface lines, ensuring and assisting in the maintenance of all accompanying loose equipment (plug valves, low and high pressure lines etc.), coordination of logistics as operations demand, the planning, coordination and assists as to pre-job and post job handling of all necessary equipment and materials.
  • During this time, Coiled Tubing was on barge swamp operation
  • Sand Cleanout and Nitrogen kickoff.

  • During this time, I worked on over 200 wells (inclusive of H2S wells) with depths up to and a bit above 12,000 feet, and the type of jobs carried out included but were not limited to:
  • Acid washes and Matrix acidizing (PPT inclusive) on rigs and rigless jobs, with Coiled tubing, freeing stuck pipes, washing and stimulating perforations and thus improving production
  • Flow line flushing and ESP (Electrical Submersible Pump) flushing in rigless operations and also via Coiled Tubing, dewaxing and restoring production
  • Well kills achieving temporary well control
  • Sand Cleaning and Nitrogen co-mixing operations via Coiled Tubing
  • Injectivity tests to ascertain well permeability
  • Pressure tests to ascertain integrity of well control equipment and providing support services for Coiled tubing and Wireline operations
  • Some of the clients I worked on include: offshore ( Chevron barge operations, Snepco, Shell petroleum, Agip oil production, Addax , ExxonMobil etc.
  • Some of the units used are as follows, Hydra Rig Coiled Tubing, Stewart and Stevenson, Jereh unit.

  • As a Field Operator Trainee my responsibilities included: Daily operational job reports and documentation, assisting in operating, maintaining and repacking of the high-pressure fluid pump unit and its components, assists in maintenance of Centrifugal pumps, plug valves and all other loose equipment, assisting the Field Engineer or Supervisor in planning, preparing and mobilizing for jobs, assists in project planning and job execution. Time to Time material inventory and documentation of spare parts.
  • During this time, I worked on about 20 wells at offshore locations, on jobs that mainly included Coiled Tubing services, cementing services, wireline services and miscellaneous high-pressure pumping.
  • Some of the equipment I worked on, learned to operate and maintain include: Coiled Tubing unit, Nitrogen Pumping unit, High pressure fluid pumps, Batch mixers, Centrifugal pumps, Plug valves (SPM, FMC, Parveeen), Filter Pods, Wilden pump etc.
