I have now gained 30 years of experience within the energy sector Worldwide, as a marine engineer, My last 19 years within the Wind Business, 14 of them as freelancer, facilitating clients on major construction projects.
Throughout My work years I have had focus within 3 major sectors, Power plant – Oil, Gas and Coal sector, process and factory process production facilities - and finally the wind area.
My Technical experience includes various high level technical tasks and jobs worldwide, Facilitating Client´s nor at on-shore or off-shore construction site managing, and organization related site and project tasks.
I started out in North Greenland “Aasiaat” facilitating the Greenland power company with distribution of district heating and water supply. There I gained a lot of deep experience, within operation of districtheating and water supply for customers and ordinary people in their living home.
The years went on with projects upgrade og balancing out some full district heating grid, with supply lines renovation, heat exchanger stations and regulation systems, pumps etc. for the supply of heat to major living blocks or standard housing.
I had two tasks, one running the daily district heating in the city of Aasiaat including grid, boiler, heat exchanger unit´s for living blocks, and then next to the water supply for the whole town of Aasiaat.
On the water supply front, many new projects were facilitatet through organizing and facilitating the main staff in the office of Greenland power in “Nuuk / Godthåb” with local information, seeking the money for renovation yearly through them.
Planning and pre-describing the projects on both the district heating side and the water supply front were crucial for getting an extended budget the year after, so the full winter season were often spend pre-describing these task upfront next years budget approval in February.
After Greenland I came back to Denmark, and started working within the Gas-generator sector for some years, facilitating the Danish district heating client with new installation of Generating sets also producing district heating for the citizen of Denmark.
Major district heating unit and more regulation and control of all these system became a part of my daily work life, here also securing facility management to major client and stakeholders within the grid, working across their organization optimization both their major district heating unit, heat exchanger stations, pumping systems etc. securing the consumers and the Danish law of district heating were for filled, before handing over any new installation.
In the years after, working around the world with coal fired power plant commissioning in different area’s, heating, water supply, ventilation were easy facilitate in many ways due to my previously experience.
Here I gained much more facility management, supporting many of these client´s afterwards when doing troubleshooting world wide, after we have handed over a system on any power station.
In the year 2008 I started working within the wind business, and over the past 8 years I have mainly had focus on OSS “Off-Shore Substation” and On-shore substation Construction, facilitating installation and testing for various major projects.and Client´s, this from early start in the projects to the handover phase.
This have strengthen My “Across the organization” Facility management, Client facilitation within the area´s of HVAC system, ventilation and cooling, water supply systems, heat exchanger un it´s etc..
I do today posses a very strong construction, installation, quality and commissioning management, which includes work across any organization within projects and site management, handling sub-contractors, planning and organization, claims, LV/MV/HV and SCADA completion, FAT, SIT and SAT testing of various subsystems facilitating the full process across country lines and borders, having the ability to get things done and organized even if it is with Cliet´s around the world.
I do posses one of the most extremely rear sides, within technical support. Supporting client´s external on troubleshooting, keeping the client relationship close to hand, for a long partnership, by speaking with client staff on any level´s – 24-7-365 days a year.
I have had management tasks relating to employment responsibility for driving My own department, hiring, building up the staff and teams, training, been supporting own O&M managers and staff worldwide.
I have learned lot´s of the many different cultures I have worked in; I am a strong, focused and self-driven person, and always a well-organized person, open minded and good with adapting. I am fluently in English and German language, spoken and written.
