Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections to identify unsafe acts, hazards, and non-compliances.
• Develop and implement risk assessments (RA) and method statements (RAMS) for all high-risk activities.
• Monitor and enforce safety procedures for work at height, ensuring use of proper fall-arrest systems, scaffolding compliance, and safe access/egress.
• Supervise and verify safety controls during excavation works, including shoring, benching, barricading, and utility detection.
• Ensure proper testing, atmospheric monitoring, ventilation, and permit procedures for confined space entry.
• Deliver daily Toolbox Talks (TBTs) and weekly safety meetings to improve worker awareness and reinforce safe practices.
• Oversee issuance and compliance of Permit to Work (PTW) systems for all hazardous activities.
• Investigate near misses, incidents, and accidents; prepare reports with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and enforce safety rules according to company and client standards.
• Coordinate emergency response drills, fire safety inspections, and evacuation procedures.
• Maintain documentation including safety checklists, inspection logs, audit reports, and HSE performance records.
