King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA) is Saudi Arabia’s third-largest airport and is the primary gateway to Jeddah and the Holy Cities of Makkah and Madinah Named after King Abdulaziz Al Saud, the airport plays a crucial role in Saudi Arabia’s aviation sector, handling millions of passengers annually and serving as a key hub for pilgrimage, tourism, and business travel.
King Abdullah Bin Abdel Aziz Extension for the Holy Haram, Supervision construction for an extension to the Makkah Holy Haram to accommodate additional 800,000 worshipers.
Sky City El Galalah /Saja Mall and Mosque of Egypt, Sky City Galala project is located in Ain Sokhna, on the plateau of Galala at a height of about 750 meters above sea level directly next to the cable car station.
2020- 2021- Tas’helat Retail Fuel Service Stations in Central and Eastern Regions Knock Down & Re-Build Construction Contract, ARAMCO Retail Company, and TOTAL Marketing Services S.A. have formed a Joint Venture (JV) to develop a network of retail fuel service stations all over Saudi Arabia. The joint venture (JV) plans to invest in the Saudi retail Fuel market to provide motorists with premium Fuels and retail services. The JV has acquired a retail network of 270 sites from Tas’helat Marketing Company (TMC) named SAHEL FUEL Stations and has a plan to Knock Down and Rebuild (KDR) the whole Network.
In the year 2020, Eighteen (18) Fuel Stations will be Knocked Down and Rebuilt.
Four (4) Stations, “Fast-Track Stations”: located in Riyadh, Khobar, and Dammam (Demolition and Construction of 4 Fuel Stations).
Fourteen (14) Stations, “Second-Track Stations”: located in Riyadh, Al Kharj Road, Al Khobar, Ad Dammam, Al Jubail, and Ad Dammam – Riyadh highway (Demolition and Construction of 10 Fuel Stations and Construction of 4 Fuel Stations).
Role & Responsibilities: Senior Architect
· Following up site inspections and material submittal/inspections
· Submit a Monthly report to summarize the progress of construction work.
· Ensure that all activities have accomplished and carried out according to specifications and approved shop drawings.

2013- 2020- Madinah Haram Expansion, Design and supervision of master plan preparation and detailed design for the expansion of the Prophet's Mosque and its piazzas in Madinah, aimed at increasing their overall capacity to over 1,600,000 worshipers. The project encompasses 4,740,000 m² of new prayer areas, the addition of a second floor atop King Fahd's existing extension (Second Saudi Extension) with a total area of 211,000 m², and the construction of a new expansion building spanning 2,490,000 m².
The scope of work also includes the development of a Central Utility Complex (CUC) with comprehensive electromechanical installations, infrastructure utility networks, a solid waste management system, toilet and ablution facilities, parking areas, access roads, security systems, low-current, and telecommunication systems, and extensive landscaping.
Role & Responsibilities: Senior Architect / Project Coordinator

2012-2013- Etihad Rail Network – Stage 2
1,200km of Etihad Rail’s network will extend across the United Arab Emirates, from the Saudi Arabian to the Omani borders. The Stage 2 will connect the railway to Mussafah, to the Gulf ports of Khalifa and Jebel Ali, and the two borders. The railway alignment provides a full line speed of 200km/h for passenger and 120km/h for freight with long straights and large radio curves. Etihad Rail has selected ETCS Level 2 as the rail standard to ensure interoperability with the GCC Railway Network.
2011-2012- Bahrain International Airport Terminal Expansion, Bahrain.
Review, validation and development into working construction documents (under 81M management) of an initial concept design for the expansion of the existing terminal building (for both new constructions and renovated areas) to cater for 13.5 million passengers/year. Works comprise the relocation of affected facilities/services to maintain operations during expansion, including 2 new office buildings; passenger terminal building expansion by 68,000 m2 with all its lounges, counters and areas; car-park deck; landside access road, ramp and parking; rotunda buildings; passenger loading bridges and affected apron services ; central utility complex and associated substation; terminal substations and emergency plant; medium voltage network ; upgrading of the primary airport station; replacement of the 7 existing air bridges; and the preparation of a comprehensive solid waste management plan. Total built-up area: 88,000 m2,
2010-2011- Central Utility Plant and Tunnels for Makkah Haram, Saudi Arabia. Design and supervision of construction for a Central Utility Complex (CUC) serving Shamiyah Haram Expansion on a site area of 75,000 m2 and accommodating a chillers plant (24 chillers with a capacity of 12,000 TR at its first phase), generators plant with a capacity of 77 MVA (first phase), gray water treatment plant, central waste handling plant (600 tons/day), water tanks and pump room, administration and service buildings with workshops and storage areas and 3 gatehouses.
2010-2011- Princess Nora Bint Abdulrahman University (PNBAU) - Building Works, Saudi Arabia.
Detailed design (according to LEED requirements-12 registrations), tender documents, and supervision of construction for all buildings, infrastructure utilities, landscaped areas and internal road networks related to an educational complex with a total built-up area of 2.8 million m2 and a student enrolment of 40,000. The project includes 8 academic colleges, 6 health sciences colleges, 2 medical research laboratories, 600-bed hospital (7-storey building with a built-up area of 99,733 m2), central library, administration building, ceremonial piazza, housing units for 11,000 single students, 400 villas for senior staff housing, 1,400 apartments for junior staff housing, outdoor sports facilities (18 tennis courts, 7 volleyball courts and 5 basketball courts), 9 indoor multifunctional courts (tennis/volleyball/basketball/handball), 9 squash courts, diving pool, 2 stadiums for 12,000 students and 10,000 visitors, mosques and central utility plants.
2008-2010- Third Saudi Extension of Madinah Haram, Saudi Arabia. Topographic survey, geotechnical investigation, design and supervision for a new eastern piazza to the east of the existing Madinah Haram and connecting to the current piazza surrounding the Haram from the other three sides. The new piazza forms a natural extension to the existing ones adopting the same type of flooring and patterns with a total area of 30,500 m2, allowing for an additional average capacity of 50,000 persons. The project also comprises the construction of 2 basement floors below the piazza level. The first basement level houses the bus station with a capacity of 18 buses and 70 taxis, and is linked to the existing parking from the north east side through newly introduced ramps. The second basement level is dedicated to car-parking with 270 parking stalls. The two basement structures are connected with two existing ramps (Ramp C of 750 m long and Ramp D of 300 m long). The piazza is provided with 8 entry/exit buildings housing escalators, elevators and staircases leading to the new bus station and car-park basement levels in addition to the electromechanical rooms, and ventilation and exhaust shafts required for the basements' ventilation. The 2 basement floors include 4 service levels, 3 of which house 750 toilet cubicles and 1,900 ablution seats, and are accessed directly from the piazza level through the entry/exit buildings, while the remaining fourth level is dedicated to water tanks and pump rooms. Works also comprised the relocation of the existing fence along with the introduction of new gates and security rooms at the piazza level. The design is in compliance with the NFPA 5000 "Building Construction and Safety Code", and NFPA 88A "Standard for Parking Structures".
