- Electrical Work Inspection of First Fix, 2nd Fix, 3rd Fix, Testing/Commissioning and Final Handover.
- Receive daily RFI based on ITP of Electrical Power, Mechanical Power, Low Current, Inter Finishing Electrical Conduit, Electrical Box Inspection, Electrical Wiring, Electrical Fence Work, HVAC Inspection, Data Cable, Satellite Cable, Check/approve Design & Drawing, Materials Submittals.
- Ensure that all construction operations are carried out according to approved design, drawing, project specification & standard. Issue NCR & SI (Site instructions), discrepancy reports (DS) on work that deviates from standards and design specifications with Preventive and Corrective Action according to standard.
- Perform proactive surveillance inspection to minimize or avoid discrepancy and non-conformance rectification cost and time.
- Ensure that all related inspection and testing activities with regards to Environment, Health & Safety procedures and maintenance rules are respected.
- Verify the accuracy of shop drawings and their compliance with the specification, consultant design, and existing local authority standards. Approval of Shop drawing, Materials Submittals, Materials Approval.
- Review of work scope, Project Quality plan, engineering standards, procedure and all Electrical, Telecom Drawings related to the Scope of project work.
- Review Contractor, subcontractor, or supplier quality document submittals (Quality Plans, Inspection Test & Plans, procedures) to ensure effective controls are in place in key areas.
- Continuous review of all logs, covering electrical work inspection.
- I have successfully handled, managed, commissioned and handed over Villas to Client.
- Familiarity with insulation resistance Testing, using tools like Megger testers, and conducting continuity tests to measure the insulation quality of cables, transformers, and switchgear to avoid short circuits and leakage currents.
- Conduct Testing and Commissioning for Electrical installation including HV, MV&LV Cables, Switchgear, RMU, Transformer, MDB's, SMDB's, DB's and ensuring compliance with project specifications & safety standard.
- Testing of HV, MV & LV cables like IR Test, High-Pot Test, Partial Discharge Test, Continuity & Conductor Resistance Test and VLF Test.
- Testing of RMU like Continuity Test, Phasing Test and IR Test.
- Testing of Transformer like IR Test, Magnetic balance Test, Magnetizing current Test, Vector group Test, Voltage/Turn ratio Test, Winding resistance Test and Conducting contact resistance Test.
- Testing of different types of Breakers like CRM Test, IR Test, Timing Test and Overload Test.
- Testing of different types of breakers according to the drawings like ACB, MCB, MCCB, RCCB, RCBO etc.
- Earth/Ground Resistance Testing to Checks grounding system resistance to ensure it provides a safe path for fault currents.
- Preparation of requests for inspections with all necessary attachments.
- Preparing daily inspection reports on field activities.
- Conducting material inspections for all Electrical items delivered at the site.
- Ensure that all inspection reports are accurate and that all attached documents are current status.
- Inspection of Cable testing according to standards and specifications.
- Inspection of Heat tracing cables according to Isometric & typical drawing.
- Verification of power transformer Installation.
- Conduct inspection of substation compartments including all circuit breaker, pt, ct etc.
- Raising non-conformance reports for any violation.
- Co-coordinating with the client for clearing log book entries and closing NCR copies with proposed corrective actions.
- Reviewing third party test reports prior to submit to the client.
- Documentation of all RFI's (Request for Inspection) after signed by the consultant.
- Witnessing and sentencing all site inspections within their disciplines.
- Preparation and Submitting of RFI with all Necessary Documentation as per ITP.
- Review and inspect all electrical material with the client inspector before installation.
- Coordinating with construction engineers and Project Management Team and Project Inspection Department for the inspection of each activity for client approval.
- Coordinate with the client regarding the site activities as per standard.
- Liaise with the contractor's field staff and Third-party laboratory to ensure that all required testing has been performed as per standard.
- Maintained control of quality records and material stored in Quality Control quarantine area.
- To ensure that all execution and inspection are carried out as per the inspection plan/drawings/codes.
- Check and review the plans and specifications for the proper construction and quality implementation at the job site, and perform pre-inspection to ensure that all installed materials are within the standard in conformance to applicable drawings & specs.
- Verify and check the job assure conformance of the work with standards and project specification prior to issuance of final inspection.
- To submit the job completion, report daily, weekly & monthly. Also record the all relevant information as required by the client copies to be retained by inspector.
- Performs and documents and version control, review and approved require submittals.
- Monitor sub-contractor inspection, testing and construction activates.
