Target Job Title: QA/QC Manager
• Young dynamic Project Manager with hands on experience in controlling projects with a reputable company in Saudi Arabia seeking a challenging position to utilize acquired skills and knowledge in delivering outstanding results.
• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with comprehensive expertise in providing technical advice and managing site activities.
• Proven competence in leading teams, collaborating with multiple stakeholders and completing all assignments on time within budget, meeting company objectives and fulfilling client expectations & standards.
Notice Period: 2 months.
• Receiving technical and operational supervision from assigned Project Manager or Delivery Director.
• Providing technical and administrative direction to subordinate construction managers, project engineers, superintendents, field staff and others, as assigned.
• Providing direction and checking of subordinate personnel, on knowledge of construction procedures and Construction HSE Toolkit.
• Responsible for field construction operations within King Abdullah Road (East Part).
• Determining workforce requirements. Coordinates established area operational plans and methods of construction. Participates and assigns subordinate supervision to develop construction work packages, with Field Engineering, for the planned work.
• Reviewing schedule for the subcontractors in order to be matched with BACS forecast.
• Reviewing and ensuring the subordinate mix of project engineers, section engineers, site engineers for the complexity of the work, the construction equipment required and the size of the labor pool deployed to execute the work.
• Monitors work activities and ensures the quality of work performed.
• Ensure the most current design document is used to complete the work and that all design changes are approved prior to implementation.
• Ensure that job hazards analyses are developed and in place for the scope and type of work responsible for.
• Prepare reports and forecasts, including summary of construction progress, craft personnel forecasts, and expenditures forecast.
• Prepare Field Material Requisitions for tools and consumables and ensures that the crafts have the tools they require to be productive and that these tools are approved for use on project, including their consumables, (e.g. grinder disks, blades, end chisels).
• Monitor the activities of subcontractors to ensure compliance with specifications and schedules. Review work with subcontractors and obtains weekly progress reporting for subcontractor supplied permanent plant material arrival on site dates, weekly progress for quantities of major quantities installed, schedule progress with respect to overall assigned area critical path and required dates for BACS free-release materials and equipment and labor.
• Coordinate activities with other disciplines or areas and RMTC (consultant), as instructed by Project Manager or Delivery Director.
• Ensures that BACS and local/national safety codes, requirements and standards are being complied with within assigned area of responsibility. Ensure the Zero Accident Philosophy is incorporated into every aspect of construction operation. Actively participates in scheduled safety meetings.
• Implement Six Sigma tools, analysis, and decision making in the execution of duties.
• Follow the field engineers distributed in three different stations.
• Checking of construction work packages for all the activities related to the work.
• Coordinates constructability with Design Engineering.
• Studies the Field Sketches for the drawings that can be changed.
• Follows the permits with the client.
• Prepare Inspection and Test Plans for all the activities related to the construction work packages.
• Follow the approvals of permanent materials.
