Producer, Director, and Editor
I made a very short film titled Essential Journey, which delves into the theme of grief through a visually distinctive, cinematic approach. Inspired by the passing of my father, the film explores the emotional weight of loss and familial connection. I captured the same road my father used to drive daily to his farm, where he finds his peace, to symbolize a journey of reflection and healing. This short film confronts the void left by my father's absence, and through that confrontation, healing occurs.
To create the illusion of motion, I transformed the view outside my house's window into a dynamic backdrop using green a screen. Then I applied chroma key to simulate the house moving through the city of Buraidah as if it were a train, blending practical effects with creative storytelling. Editing was done using Adobe Premiere.
