1. Installation & Commissioning

• Mechanical Assembly: Precise mounting of the gantry for CT scan machines, X-ray generators, detector array or film, control console, data acquisition system (DAS), cooling system and reconstruction engines.
• Software Configuration: Installing operating systems and diagnostic software's, configuring system settings.
• Calibration & Acceptance Testing: Conducting initial scans to verify image resolution, geometric calibration, safety interlock checks and mechanical integrity.

2. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance

• Routine Calibration: performing geometry calibration and tube seasoning to extend the life of the x-ray tube.
• Hardware Inspection: Checking cables, lubricating table rails and inspecting cooling systems.
• Safety Checks: Verifying the integrity of door interlocks and emergency stop buttons.

3. Troubleshooting & Repair

• Error Log Analysis: Interpreting system error codes and diagnostic logs to find hardware and software failures.
• Component Level Repair: Troubleshooting and replacing faulty components such as X-ray generator, detector modules or films, power supply units, sensors and frequency convertors etc.
