Roles & Responsibilities

* Led and supervised all Plumbing and Fire Fighting (PL/FF) construction activities in accordance with approved IFC drawings, project specifications, and international/local codes including NFPA, SBC, UPC, and NBC.

* Reviewed and coordinated IFC drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements with Consultants and Clients for timely approvals.

* Planned, executed, and monitored site activities to ensure quality, safety (HSE), and on-time project delivery.

* Coordinated with civil, architectural, electrical, and HVAC disciplines to resolve clashes and ensure smooth MEP site execution.

* Managed subcontractors, supervisors, and site workforce, assigning daily tasks and monitoring productivity and progress.

* Supervised installation of water supply, drainage, sewer, storm water, gas piping systems, including pumps, tanks, and associated accessories.

* Oversaw installation, testing, and commissioning of fire protection systems including sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, water mist, wet chemical systems, fire pumps, and fire water tanks.

* Conducted and witnessed testing and commissioning activities such as pressure testing, flushing, disinfection, flow tests, and pump performance tests.

* Ensured strict compliance with HSE requirements, conducted toolbox talks, and enforced site safety procedures.

* Coordinated inspections and approvals with Client, Consultant, Civil Defense, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).

* Prepared and submitted daily and weekly progress reports, Inspection Requests (IR), and Material Inspection Requests (MIR).

* Monitored material procurement, delivery, storage, and consumption to prevent shortages and minimize wastage.

* Handled site technical issues, RFIs, design clarifications, and maintained accurate as-built documentation.

* Supported project planning, scheduling, and cost control activities in coordination with project management.
