- To control and regulate the process of Turbine & Generator in co-ordinate with Field Operators and Shift Incharge

- To generate relative records such as shift reports, i.e generation reports
- Co-ordinate among service departments during maintenance
- To keep co-ordination between NPCC & RCC regarding availability of Power and Tripping of Plant
- To look after and carry out all the operational and maintenance activities related to Generators, MV/LV Rooms, Transformers, etc
- To operate the system according to defined operational and safety SOPs
- To co-ordinate with Maintenance teams in Work Permits and Isolations of the system
- To ensure all the necessary preventive maintenance checks of the operation duty
- To handle any emergency situation in co-ordination with operation team
