• Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with project specifications, contract requirements, and applicable standards.
• Prepare, review, and approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, Quality Procedures, and Quality Control Plans.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and international standards such as ISO 9001, ASTM, ACI, BS, and local authority regulations.
• Lead and manage QA/QC engineers, inspectors, and laboratory teams to ensure effective quality control throughout project execution.
• Conduct inspections and monitor civil works including earthworks, concrete works, structural works, finishing works, and infrastructure activities.
• Review and approve material submittals, vendor documents, and material inspection reports to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), corrective actions, preventive actions, and root cause analysis to address quality issues.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams for inspections, approvals, and quality-related matters.
• Monitor testing activities for construction materials such as concrete, soil, steel, and asphalt through approved laboratories.
• Ensure proper documentation, recordkeeping, and compilation of quality dossiers, inspection reports, and handover documents.
• Conduct internal audits and site surveillance to verify implementation of quality standards and identify improvement opportunities.
• Monitor KPIs and quality performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and reduce defects/rework.
• Provide quality training, awareness, and technical guidance to project teams and subcontractors.
• Participate in project meetings and provide quality status updates, risks, and recommendations to senior management.
• Ensure successful project close-out by managing final inspections, punch lists, and client handover documentation.
