- Check that the construction drawing matches the site condition and create an as-built drawing in collaboration with the design engineer.
- Provide a technical solution to construction issues
- Prepare the snag list and follow up with all subcontractors and construction engineers before commissioning and start-up activities.
- following up on the pre-commissioning activities such as flushing and air blowing.
- Use AutoCAD to update any changes made to the drawings.
- Witnessing and evaluating NDT techniques such as RT, MT, VT, UT, and PT.
- Supervise the welder qualification testing.
- Check the fit-up and dimensional accuracy of the piping before welding.
- Follow up on all construction activities at the site.
- Witness the vacuum box, hardness, and pressure testing.
- Monitoring and following the welding sequence according to the fabrication sequence to control any expected distortion during tank fabrication.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Ensure that the pre-heat and post-weld heat treatment activities are performed correctly, review the charts, and make the necessary reports.
