• Monitor and implement QA/QC controls and procedures of the company as well as of the clients.
• Arrange and coordinate with clients' inspection unit all QA/QC inspection requirements prior to start-up of any welding/piping jobs.
• Conversant with QA/QC procedures, international codes and standards such as ASME, AWS D 1.1, ASTM, AWS D1.6.
• Expertise in preparing of Welding Procedures specification (WPS), procedure qualification record (PQR) & witnessing the welder qualification for different Welding process Review and approval of Welding documents (WPS/PQR/WPQ/).
• Expertise in qualification of Welding Procedures for different materials (CS, SS).

• Material verification, traceability, fit-up and visual welding inspection.
• Non-Destructive testing (NDT) inspection and review the reports.
• Monitor and maintain control records for welding consumable daily basis.
• Witnessing Welders Qualification Tests & maintain Welder Performance record.
• Inspect for all sort of fit-ups, alignment and visual inspection of all welds.
• Ensure that approved WPS are followed, Prepare daily inspection reports.
• Close monitoring of welding in all stages to ensure sound quality of weld.
• Coordinating, witness & review of all third party inspection carried out.
• Ensure implementation of Quality Control Plans and procedures.
• Ensure that Inspection / Testing equipments at site are with valid calibration.
