Assistant to the Head of operations, The mission was to build the operations department as part of a project to establish the branch in Saudi Arabia. The set up was to ensure primary-secondary plans are in place with the required system, connection, and relevant tools, The role was to manage the day-to-day transactions across multiple lines, Saving Treasury and Corporate banking for various products , This includes proper coordination with Saudi central bank and other MUFG branches. I was given the task of establishing Treasury & Corporate operations department and Payments department along with SARIE system with the branch by testing all of core system modules, working with appropriate MENA and EMEA stakeholders to complete all steps adhering to the policies and procedures, and making sure all operate as intended.

• Managing Branch Business Operations (Treasury Operations & Corporate Operations & Payments department)
• Mange and review policies and procedures related to Operations.
• Managing and Ensuring all Treasury Operations transactions booking/Activities related are inline with the policy and procedure.
• Managing and Ensuring all Payments (SWIFT/SARIE) booking/Activities related are inline with the policy and procedure.
• Managing and Ensuring loans and deposit conventional and Islamic bookings/Activities related are inline with the policy and procedure.
• Managing and Ensuring all Trade services Bookings/Activity related are inline with the policy and procedure.
• Managing and Ensuring onboarding client after KYC completion and account opening in core system are inline with the policy and procedure.
• Managing all incoming requests through SAMA system(SAMAnet, Tanfeeth, Watheeq)
• Managing teams effectively and efficiently.
• Work closely with other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and compliance with SAMA requirements as well as global MUFG requirements.
• Control bank cashflow.
• Reconcile bank's Nostros.
• Preparing financial reports to Head office and Saudi central bank.
• Participating in all System upgrades, enhancements and developments projects related to Operations department.
• Participating in all Saudi Central bank's projects related to Operations department.

• Verifying all type FX deals with Banks and Clients.
• Verifying MM deals with Banks.
• Verifying Deposits and Loans.
• Verifying SAMA deals(USD purchase, Repo, Rev Repo and T-bills).
• Verifying Payments MT103, MT202 and MT200
• Verifying MT300 and MT320.
• Reconciling Bank's Nostros.
• Review and control Bank cash flow.
• Monitoring Bank SAR position
• Preparing Financial reports.
• Following and solving outstanding financial cases.

• Reconciling the position between FCCL & Treasury countrywide & overseas.
• Verifying the P&L s calculated by the system against front system.
• Investigating variances in position and P&L and prepare FCCL summary sheet for the position and P&L.
• Uploade and freeze FX rates on daily basis.
• Monitor Clients limits.
