• Responsible for the interpretation and strict implementation of all Saudi Aramco Safety Rules and Regulations as per Saudi Aramco Construction Safety Manual (SACSM).
• Communicate Safety Rules and Standards to all contractor and Sub-Contractor workforces.
• Arrange Safety Induction training to employees & visitors.
• Ensure Field Compliance of All sites with respect to Saudi Aramco Safety Rules and Regulations.
• Monitored and prevented potential work place hazards through routine inspection and training and documentation of policies, procedures.
• Provided proactive safety support to internal and external for working site facilities.
• Attending the HSE meetings and provide technical support related to HSE issues.
• To ensure that Risk Assessment for all potentially hazardous operations are developed and made known to the concerned personnel
• Expertise in hazard identification Plan and job safety analysis create safety awareness by promoting safety meetings presentation and open forum discussions and by implementing safety training etc.
• Maintaining and implements general information report such as site health, safety & environmental (HSE) plan, fire- fighting plan, emergency evacuation plan , heat stress plan and other related report like MIR Camp, Safety Audit Report, VSP & Training Record.
• Immediately report all incidents and near misses to Saudi Aramco Proponent Organization (SAPO) in accordance to Saudi Aramco Incident Reporting and Investigation.
• Ensure incidents and near misses are properly investigated to determine root causes, make recommendations to prevent recurrence and that corrective actions have been taken.
• Inspection & maintain of active and passive fire protection systems like fire extinguishers, hydrant, fire detection system its functioning etc.
• To maintain records and inspection & testing certificates of all the heavy equipment's.
• Preparing and conducting tool box talks for the work force.
• Supervision of critical lifting, excavation & welding activities.
• Conducts periodic inspection and checking the color coding of the firefighting equipment's lifting gears, hand and power tools, first aid kit, ladder, heavy Equipment & vehicles etc.
• Inspects scaffolding erection at the working areas to ensure proper installation and prevent anticipated hazards & maintain tag system.
• Monitor various permits to work system.
• Ensures that workers wear the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) according to their work activities
• Participate in Internal Safety Audit, inspection, Safety Campaign, Safety Tour at site, safety promotional activities etc. and follow up for the implementation of recommendations.
• Organize and according to the scheduled all types of firefighting drills, fire mock drills, and evacuation drill etc.
• Organize Safety and fire prevention training classes for regular and contract personnel covering Basic firefighting training & demonstration, hose handling, use of PPE, Safety in gas cylinders, Material handling, SCBA set handling, HAZCOM etc.
• Maintain Disaster Management Disaster Recovery Plan (DMDRP)
