• Provide technical evaluations for infrastructure financing proposals and import financing offers

e.g. importation of petroleum products; including financing period, grace period, required guarantees, etc. with recommendations to the Federal 'Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning', and to the 'Sudanese Petroleum Corporation'

• Manage SWIFT-based financial transactions and monitor foreign currency reserves; issuing bank guarantees of various types, such as financial guarantees, performance guarantees and advance payment guarantees per the rules of the Chamber of Foreign Commerce
• Generate financial reports and statistics to support strategic decision-making through the following:
• Investigate the financial capacity of companies submitting financing offers through SWIFT system
• Execute financial transfer operations for financial institutions; correspondent banks and companies via SWIFT system using MT202 and MT103 messages
• Carry out the necessary reconciliations in daily accounting entries for the CBOS through the core banking system
• Prepare cashflow statements in foreign currency for resources/uses for the CBOS
• Prepare and analyze foreign currency statistics, financial statistics, and provide recommendations to assist the CBOS senior and top management making informed decisions
• Prepare and write internal memorandums on requests of commercial banks and government institutions, providing technical opinion
• Write and drafting official letters to government entities and commercial banks
• Monitor foreign currency balances on a daily basis and report to senior management
