  • Created and led various initiatives to foster social awareness in our school such as the Cards for the Elderly where our students created handmade cards to be sent to geriatric centers in Canada by partnering with Sending Sunshine
  • Hosted regular meetings ( both in-person and online) with 7-8 students to brainstorm future initiatives and ensure everyone’s ideas were heard and noted down
  • Would create and delegate tasks to students and ensured their completion through regular check-ins and assistance
  • Created timelines and budgets, booked spaces for events, and gathered and created materials for events such as fundraisers, book drives, and donation days, especially in emergency situations where school faculty was unable to do so or plans were changed last minute

  • Taught myself and was tasked to teach my peers and new interns about various psychiatric disorders, primarily psychotic disorders, through the DSM-5 and online sources and the administration of various psychiatric tests
  • Would daily administer highly detailed psychiatric testing which required strong observational skill and would build sufficient rapport with patients to make them comfortable and communicate my notes on their inner states to upper faculty
  • Would regularly be tasked to create presentations when leading group therapies or for the regular discussions our head psychologist would host with me and my fellow interns.
