  • Accountable for delivery of Triton Enterprise Assurance activities with specific emphasis on performance and optimisation in engineering, maintenance and logistics contexts.
  • Performance Dashboard Development and Implementation. In collaboration with external service provider designed and developed performance dashboard to display contractual metrics for use in analysing contractor and system performance. Dashboard provides both industry partner and Commonwealth reliable, real-time and timely metrics to improve performance and optimize system efficiencies to enhance capability outcomes.
  • Identified and remedied contractual gaps. Analysed interim contract arrangements and identified gaps impacting Capability delivery. Worked with industry partner to establish solutions and worked with internal and external commercial organisations to enact contract amendments. Changes to contract led to enhancing capability effectiveness, greater autonomy to industry partner and overall support system efficiencies.
  • Remediated working at heights issue impacting critical schedule milestone. Developed three parallel lines of effort to address immediate and medium-term work health and safety issues relating to working at heights for the industry partner providing maintenance for a critical acquisition milestone event. Options were implemented to allow maintenance activities to proceed safely and ensure the critical milestone was reached. Milestone was enabler to test and evaluate critical operational capabilities for use in high profile international multi-domain exercise.

ADF LOGISTICS LIAISON OFFICER

  • Coordinated transportation logistics for inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring compliance with host nation regulations.

PROJECT AIR555 DEPUTY INTEGRATED LOGISTICS SUPPORT MANAGER

  • Responsible for developing, coordinating and delivering logistics outcomes supporting acquisition of MC-55 capability, specific scope including delivering holistic training strategy including development of contracting mechanisms, development of disposal plan and evaluation of propulsion system support requirements including procurement and contracting of spare engine and associated support and test equipment.
  • Development and execution of whole of capability training strategy. Developed whole of capability training strategy to support acquisition and delivery of MC-55 acquisition outcomes. Conducted liaison with broad stakeholder group including commercial entities leading to successful execution of initial training in the USA. This outcome subsequently mitigated significant logistic and operational risks due to first of type ADF capability.
  • Negotiated and procured MC-55 spare engine and associated spares. In consultation and collaboration with commercial team, successfully procured and negotiated spare propulsion system for MC-55, > $20m. The activity required significant planning with Materiel Procurement Branch, Defence Legal and internal commercial organisations including significant liaison and coordination from international entities. Successful procurement occurred within budget, schedule and mitigated identified capability risks.
  • Provided executive leadership and team cohesion. Promoted into Integrated Logistics Support Manager position due to long term staff absence. Conducted analyses of ILS work activity and developed work breakdown structure to apportion work effort to team. Establishment of key lines of responsibility and accountability uncovered gaps in ILS work effort which was rectified through workforce mobilization and reprioritisation. Outcomes enabled work effort to be completed on time, on schedule and within budget.

  • Responsible for the engineering and configuration management system for Maritime Patrol Systems Program Office. The role managed the whole of capability configuration and engineering management system which encompassed aircraft and support systems for the P3C and AP3-C Orion capability system.

In preparation for a significant capability uplift analysed configuration management practices and made changes to methods of managing identification, control and auditing functions. Changes to processes led to greater efficiencies enhancing data management, recording and general enhancement of configuration processes. These changes generated significant time savings which personnel reinvested in other higher priority activities.
  • Restructured Engineering Management System Processes. Analyses of engineering system uncovered significant duplication and non-value adding processes. Conducted analyses and redesigned engineering steps to generate efficiencies in the processing of engineering tasks. These changes significantly improved engineering processing timeframes enabling engineering changes to be completed with higher efficiency and effectivity. Changes increased capacity and productivity.
