- Excavation, trenching and back-filling, direct buried cables and underground duct bank in concrete encasement, installation of concrete surface and marker post, installation of splice chamber, placing/pulling/splicing/testing and termination of fiber optic cables, placing of grounding wires and cutting and replacing of affected paved and asphalt areas to original or better conditions.
- Fiber Optic Cable installation in concrete encased conduit when crossing pipeline. The minimum distance when crossing the pipeline is 1.0 meters below or above the pipeline. On pipelines less than 24” Dia concrete encasement provide extended 10.0 meters minimum each side perpendicular to the pipe. On pipelines 24” Dia and over concrete encasement is extended 30 meters minimum each side perpendicular to the pipe as per SAES-T-911 for conduit system design.
- Installation of Fiber Optic Splice Closure on every 4.5KM length of cable and as specified in the design and installation methods prescribed in SAES-T-632 & 633.
- Performing continuity and OTDR test to all fiber optic strands.
- Record all test conducted conforming to SAES-T-634.
