• Ensuring that Project quality Plan and procedures are activated at site.
• Performing inspections of installations when advised by construction-in-charges/ site Supervisors.
• Monitoring the phases of quality control of work as per specifications.
• Material Inspection upon delivery at site as per the approved Material Submittal.
• Maintain accurate & calibrated inspection tools and equipment for consistent measurements of operation of the inspection and testing system.
• Report on daily inspection and testing activities and issuing internal non-conformance reports when the specification or procedural requirements are not met.
• Reporting to QA/QC manager in regards of documentation.
• Preparation of ITP & Method Statement for site execution work.
• Maintain inspection & testing records.
• Coordination with main Contractor's MEP coordinator & Consultant on all aspects of site inspections.
• To conduct surveillance on the inspection tests required in the technical provisions of the specification.
• Regular inspection of Installed DUCTS, AHU’S, CHILLERS, CHW Piping, Plumbing, Drainage etc. as per the approved ITP & Method of Statement.
• Ensuring that all concealed works are completed satisfactorily and accepted by consultant before clearing to civil and finishes team.
• Preparation of Work progress report on Weekly & Monthly basis.
• Studying the complete shop drawing for better execution of work at site.
• Coordination with all other services like Architectural & Electrical, etc. towards successful completion of project.
• Ensure received material for execution are free from any damages prior to raising of MIR.
• Raising MIR & WIR with required supporting documents attached such as approved Shop drawings, MTC, Supplier delivery note, Material submittal CRS, Third party inspection report Etc.
• Raising Third Party Inspection request as required for clearance of WIR/RFI.
• Witnessing testing & commissioning of Equipment’s performed by third party.
• Ensuring quality of work to avoid any Non-Conformance (NCR) from consultant which have a direct impact on claims.
• Closure of comments mentioned by Consultant in NCR and get approval.
• All the inspection of Ducts, AHU units, Pumps, Firefighting under the guidelines of SMACNA, ASHRAE, ASTM & NFPA.
• Raising Field change request (FCR) in case of any deviation on site not following approved shop drawings due to any variation.
• Maintain daily, weekly & Monthly Inspection reports through a log sheet.
• Rectify the comments of Consultant or Client with the help of execution team in order to get approval.
• Coordinate with QS team with approved MIR & WIR to prepare invoice based on inspection reports.
• Raise SDR for any damaged parts, equipment’s by any other services team after installation is completed.
• Prepare report for Root cause, Corrective action & actions to be taken to control damage.
• Attending daily & weekly meetings on progress report of execution works.
