A PC running embedded windows operating system controls processing. The job is based in Portsmouth at the Stagecoach and First Group bus depots and is carried out at weekends.

  • Equipping each bus with the RTPI system including integrating with the existing bus electrical system, installing all hardware and associated wiring.

  • Design and manufacture of avionic system simulation.
  • Embodiment of modifications in line with aircraft standards.
  • Provision of ballistic information, carriage and release for new and legacy weapons for Harrier GR7 aircraft.
  • Harrier military aircraft software testing and production of non-standard test schedules.
  • Production of automatic and semi-automatic test programs using BAE Systems designed software to standardise testing and reduce time taken.
  • Analysis of Mil Std 1553 data on and off aircraft for fault diagnosis and data retrieval.
  • Support, servicing and repair of Nimrod acoustic replay facility.
  • System administrator for Unix based workstations and windows based PC’s.
  • Responsible for hazardous substances in accordance with COSHH regulations 1988
