Yusif is a financial services professional for the past 8 years, starting in the USA as a licensed & regulated financial advisor and employed by the largest mutual life insurer in the country. He solicited a wide range of financial products such as insurance policies for whole & term life insurances, disability insurances, and investment products such as mutual funds, exchanged traded funds and other packaged investment products. After his tenure at Northwestern Mutual he returned to KSA and was employed within 3 months of returning home. He got approached by a local insurance and reinsurance brokerage firms where he grasped and analyzed the differences in both markets. He then joined Wataniya Insurance Company which is a publicly listed company on the Saudi Stock Exchange ie Tadawul and his role there was in the life department in which we solicited Group Life policies for company employees & Credit Life policies insuring outstanding balances for loans such as mortgages, personal loans and credit cards. His latest tenure and position is with Banque Saudi Fransi where he initially joined the Bancassurance department via a referral where he was able to obtain the largest portfolio in terms of Gross Written Premium amount within the department. The subsequent pivot from insurance to corporate banking was out of a request for transfer from the bank's upper management from the Corporate Banking Group which is the largest revenue generator for the bank. In this role he is responsible for maintaining a client centric business practice and providing suitable financial solutions to the existing client base and potential prospects for expanding our corporate portfolio.
This role is responsible for achieving revenues and asset growth by providing appropriate solutions and value-added services to existing client base and also enhancing the client base by establishing new relationships and acquiring fresh assets from these potential clients and cross selling other BSF Products.
Primary objective is achieving the annual revenue target and growing our asset by providing value with suitable and monetarily based solutions for our current book of business, and simultaneously approaching prospects with revenues at or exceeding $200MM per financial year and with diligent aqcuisitions that will increase our assets in value and the overall development and the betterment of the corporate portfolio at the bank.
Cross-selling from various divisions at the bank including a diverse lot of divisions such as loans & deposits for LC & LG documentations, treasury in the form of financial derivatives, forward contracts and accompanying it with an appropriate hedging strategy, providing all types of insurance policies underwritten by various insurer partners distributed via the bancassurance department.
