  • Lab work includes sample preparation, DNA concentration measurement using Pico green, designing primers, PCR amplification, sequencing, sequencing analysis, SNPs genotyping, inventory, and applying QC measures
  • Bioinformatics tools: Primer3 for designing primers, Haploview software for tag-SNPs selection and testing association studies, Sequencher and Variant Reporter for sequencing analysis
  • Additional publicly available genetic databases used to download reference genetic data
  • Statistical analysis using R-statistical package: Single site association analysis, Haplotype based association analysis, Rare variants association analyses (Burden test and SKAT test)
