• Compile and maintain quality related documents such as MTS, WIR, MIR, MAT and QC Inspection Checklists to ensure accurate and thorough documentation of project activities.
• Inspection and Supervision of Dam Spillway Consolidation Grouting (including Retaining walls, Discharge Chutes, Approach Channel Slabs, Control section and Headrace Tunnel), Control Grouting, Contact Grouting of piers of Control Section.
• Supervision of Curtain Grouting of Grouting Adit’s, Grouting galleries and Curtain Grouting under Cut-off wall (Anti-seepage wall).
• Supervision of Drilling and Blasting of Headrace Tunnel, including excavation, Survey and Mapping, support works as per rock condition (i-e: installation of rock bolts, wire mesh, steel rebars, fiber or reinforced shotcrete first and second layer) and Steellining.
• Ensure that all inspection reports are accurate and that all attached documents are in the status.
• Identify, report and address non-conformities promptly, proposing corrective actions and ensuring their implementation to maintain project quality and adherence to standards.
• Ensure all work is correctly prepared prior to any inspection being undertaken.
• Coordinate all quality related inspections and tests with project consultants prior to commencement and arranging third party testing personal for testing.
• Facilitate the submission of pre-qualifications, material submittals and material inspection requests for review and approval by project consultants.
• Supervision of Taxiway Pavement Works, Storm Water Drainage network and buried piping installations, future ducts for MV, LV, Communication and AGL, Trench Excavation, Concrete works for Manholes and Concrete Encased Pipelines etc.
• Inspection during Installation of Cut-off Wall, Bentonite slurry preparation and treatment, drilling, excavation and depth checking and placement of concrete of COW.
• Execution of the tunnel drill and blast, excavation, support work and lining according to the project specifications.
• Implement the installation of designed support, encompassing shotcrete, wire mesh, rock bolts, swilled, lattice girder, and spilling bolts, aligning with recommended rock class.
• Conduct on-site inspections and tests, i.e. concrete slump, temperature, shotcrete penetrometer test to fine EAS, rock bolts pull-out test etc. to verify compliance with specs.
• Witnessed and participated in various on-site tests i.e. FDT during construction of Access roads and drilling platforms and CPT at Dike Walls after the completion of High Energy Impact Compaction (HEIC).
• Review work procedures and method statements for compliance with standard work practices and organization’s contract specifications.
• To ensure proactive approach during construction works to avoid any Non-Conformance.
• To conduct toolbox meetings related to different activities for proper awareness of the construction team.
• Execution of the tests conducted on concrete, soil, asphalt, concrete slump, temperature, soil sampling, FDT, Plate load test, prime coat, tack coat and coring as per required specification and standards.
• Supervise and manage construction activities, ensuring adherence to quality, production, and time schedules by submitting daily look ahead report and two weeks lookahead report through Aconex.
• Execution of Consolidation grouting, Curtain grouting, Control grouting and backfill grouting of dam and final acceptance according to the project quality standards.
• Updating daily, weekly and monthly reports and maintaining test logs, NCR summary logs etc.
• Preparation of Weekly Quality Minutes of Meeting and coordinating with project consultants EPM and ETSD through email.
• Ensuring that site activities are done according to the reference documentation.
• Communicating and meeting with clients concerning conveying project quality compliances.
