I have supported procurement team in head office with maintaining appropriate coordination with Project Site Teams to ensure that Site Material Requests are matching with Project Specs, BoQ, Approved Material Submittals and Project Budget, those materials for MEP works at The Red Sea Projects in Saudi Arabia. The following tasks have been achieved:

1. Prepare Material Submittals for MEP products based on project specifications and Bill of Quantity with reviewing vendor/manufacturer qualifications, product datasheets and specs compliance to obtain the required material approvals form Client/Consultant.

2. Liaise with Site Engineers and Construction Managers to deliver the correct materials at desired quality and quantities as per project approved submittals, site material takeoff and other available documents.

3. Maintain effective communications with different suppliers to analyze their offers and make comparison for delivering the approved materials at negotiated prices, payment terms, conditions and delivery time in alignment with project plan, budget and timelines.

4. Utilize Dynamics application for procurement to issue purchase orders addressed to the succeeded suppliers and following up for materials delivery as agreed terms and conditions.

Additionally, I have assisted tendering team for new projects bidding to estimate competitive prices that covering all the costs of materials, equipment, accessories, and man-hours to complete the works with reference to quotations from recommended vendors and according to project specs, BoQ, drawings and scope of work. Also, I have assisted tendering manager to prepare request of information needed from project's client to clarify uncertainty in scope of work and specifications or to request further details and documents, prior to submit our final Quotation to the client for project bidding. So far, we have performed tendering for six projects across Saudi Arabia with scale over 100 million SAR per each project.

I have maintained proper interface between Project Teams i.e. Site Technical Engineering, Planning, Procurement, Support Service, QA/QC and Cost Control. In order to ensure that all Requested Materials/Services are aligned with Project Specs, BoQ, Approved Submittals, Drawings and Project Budget for the Requests related to MEP, Civil works and Logistics at MISK project, Riyadh - Saudi Arabia. I have accomplished the following tasks efficiently

1. Assist Procurement department for studying suppliers' technical submittals and quotations in terms of Project Specs compliance, prices, delivery time, payment terms, certificates, warranty, etc. Negotiate with the suppliers to obtain desirable quality for materials/services at competitive price. Follow-up with the suppliers for Materials Delivery as per agreed schedule.

2. Liaise with QA/QC department to obtain approved Material Inspections Requests for the delivered materials. Follow-up with the suppliers for any required documents/certificates upon materials delivery.

3. Monitor and control Store Stock at the site with Store department to make sure that consumables materials and needed tools at the required quantities to keep the site running.

4. Monitor and control the Store materials/tools with Site Execution team to maintain Zero wastage of materials and efficient usage of equipment/tools.

5. Coordinate with Support Service for equipment/assets periodic maintenance, repairs and calibrations to preserve work continuity at site.

Direct, monitor and control for all works related to Security, Audio/Visual, MEP installations and maintenance at Camel Club Projects for King Abdulaziz Camel Festival. I have ensured to meet client's requirements to run the festival successfully.

Working on IPND project (Internet Protocol Network Delivery) infrastructure project for Military Authority, and on KAFD project

In Property Site Operations Department. Accomplishments are:

1. Lead inspectors' team successfully on various sites in the project to produce daily site checklists and records to ensure contractors' work, manpower, documents, certifications and materials matching project requirements. Have trained and coached the new inspectors to be able to deal with their duties effectively.

2. Monitor and follow-up on a daily basis and maintained records for the execution of Electromechanical works related to ISP (Inside Plant includes network cabinets, containment, cabling, CCTV, air conditioning, power, earthing and required tests) and OSP (Outside Plant includes civil works, trenching, ducting, chambers and fibre Optics pulling, termination and testing) all as per project requirements, standards, and accepted practices. I have extended the maximum effort to avoid contractors claims for cost or delay.

3. Indicate non‐conforming work, have been forwarded to Regional Team Leader (RTL) to take necessary actions and escalation, and the contractors have been followed up for corrective action. Examples, not using the correct tools and experienced manpower to do the work, not having the calibrated tester to test the cable correctly.

4. Have checked the Acceptance Test Plan (ATP), testing and Commissioning for the contractors' sites. The ATPs have been submitted for five sites that have been under my ownership to obtain the final approval. The sites have been approved by the client and technical transferred to Operations & Maintenance.

5. I have identified safety concerns, and the contractors have been informed for immediate corrective actions, have been reported to Lead HSE Engineer and RTL. Have stopped the work that contains high risk e.g. contractor worked on road crossing without proper traffic management and using unsafe scaffolding to perform an activity.

6. Have followed with the contractor to make sure that they have submitted the project required documents on time to deliver the sites as per the project schedule. I have assisted the contractor to prepare the documents and drawings to achieve the target.

Had worked on the following large-scale construction projects:

• 2016 to 2017 – Ministry of Education (New Headquarters).
• 2011 to 2016 – King Abdullah Financial District (LEED Certified Office and Hotel Buildings).
• 2011 – King Abdullah Road (Phase I).
• 2009 to 2011 – VIP Private Projects.

In the Quality Control Department. Accomplishments are:

1. I had done inspections carried out for material and installations as per contract documents (drawings, submittals and specs) for Electromechanical works and Low Current Systems such as Fire Detection & Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, IP Networking, TV, Telephone, Audio/Visual, Lighting Control and BMS. Had forwarded the quality comments for rectifications before submission to Consultant. The required approvals had been obtained from Consultant for the completed work.

2. I had promoted as acting QC Senior Engineer since Oct 2014. Had supervised the QC Engineers' team to achieve the team's duties for maintaining the best quality of work.

3. Had liaised with Site Management (SM) and Subcontractors (SC) to identify deficiencies, and to clarify ambiguities in design and documents. Had highlighted any concerns on work progress. SC' materials/tools, workmanship and functional performance have been verified for compliance of the site requirements.

4. Had issued non-conformance report for any executed work that does not comply with the contract documents. Had prepared the required periodic reports for work progress at sites.

5. I Had recorded the As-Built information on a daily basis. the final As-built drawings had been issued and reviewed based on our recorded information.

6. Had coordinated with the Consultant regarding procedures and checklists for Testing and Commissioning (T&C) of the systems. Approved T&C documents had been acquired and prepared for the T&C stage to obviate any delay.

7. Had followed up pending remarks on the reserve list with the SM and SC. All remarks and comments had been rectified and coordinated with maintenance division (O&M). I had attended handing over of the project with client representative and O&M.
