Manage safety, security, environmental, and fire prevention programs within KAEC, ensuring compliance with regulations, and promoting a safe environment for residents, employees, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):

- Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures.

- Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and audits.

- Lead accident investigations and develop corrective action plans.

- Organize safety drills, training, and awareness programs.

- Monitor environmental compliance and waste management.

2. Security Management:

- Oversee security operations, including access control and surveillance.

- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services.

- Implement security policies to protect assets and minimize risks.

3. Fire Safety Management:

- Develop fire prevention programs and conduct fire risk assessments.

- Plan and conduct fire drills and emergency response training.

- Ensure fire safety measures are functional and compliant.

4. Regulatory Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.

- Stay updated on changes in HSE regulations and standards.

5. Team Leadership:

- Manage and mentor HSE, security, and fire safety teams.

- Set performance standards and conduct evaluations.

6. Emergency Response Planning:

- Develop and implement emergency response plans for various scenarios.

- Coordinate with external emergency services.

7. Reporting and documentation:

- Maintain records of safety incidents, inspections, and training.

- Prepare safety performance reports for senior management.

- Report to the Operations General Manager, and collaborate with the HSE Department.

- Serve as both an experienced operator and a key safety advisor, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of petrochemical processes.

- Focus on implementing and maintaining safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a strong safety culture.

Safety Responsibilities:

1. Act as the department’s primary safety resource, advising on and enforcing safety policies, procedures, and best practices.

2. Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments to identify and mitigate risks.

3. Develop, implement, and update safety protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., OSHA, API, NFPA).

4. Lead incident investigations, including root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

5. Deliver safety training and awareness programs to operators and team members.

6. Collaborate with the HSE department on company-wide safety initiatives.

7. Serve as the first point of contact for safety concerns, providing technical guidance.

Emergency Preparedness:

1. Coordinate emergency response drills and readiness activities.

2. Maintain and update emergency response plans for operational activities.

3. Act as the on-site safety lead during emergencies, ensuring protocol adherence.

- Monitored and enforced safety policies as the main contractor in ARAMCO’s project execution.
